Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

This book is about a girl named Hannah who left behind thirteen stories on seven cassette tapes about why she committed suicide. The tapes are being sent from person to person who had anything to do with her suicide. She holds each and every one of them responsible for her death in one way or another, and she explains why in the tapes.

Then when a boy named Clay receives it & when he finds out why it was sent to people, he is confused. He hasn't done anything wrong to Hannah. Or at least he thinks. He then has to listen to all the tapes to find out what he did wrong, if he did something wrong, and in that process, he slowly learns what everyone has done to Hannah to drive her to that state.

I personally think that this book was slow in the beginning, but it was really great in the middle towards the end. There are some arguments that the reasons for her suicide was unnecessary &, but I think that it you'll never know how bad it is if you are not her.

I recommend this book!
